Jim Wilson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Christian ministry and poverty relief. As a co-founder and retired Executive Director of Appalachian Outreach, Wilson has dedicated a significant portion of a career to serving the community through various programs, including home repair services and a homeless shelter, while continuing to provide consulting support post-retirement. Prior experience includes directing campus ministries at Carson-Newman University and the University of the Cumberlands, where Wilson also initiated a poverty relief initiative. Academic credentials include a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a BA in Religion from Carson-Newman University, complemented by an Associate of Arts from Wingate University.
