Amir Poreh is a distinguished academic and licensed psychologist with extensive experience in clinical neuropsychology and psychology assessment. Since August 2004, Amir has served as a Full Professor at Cleveland State University, where Amir also directed the Clinical Psychology MA Program during two periods, 2007-2011 and 2013-2016. Concurrently, Amir holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University since January 2007. Previous roles include Clinical Neuropsychologist at Sheba - Tel Ha Shomer Hospital from 1996 to 2004, and Faculty Member at Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1996 to 2003. Early career experiences include post-doctoral training at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA and an APA-accredited internship at the VA Medical Center in Detroit/Ann Arbor. Amir earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
