Casey’s General Stores Names Adrian Butler as Chief Information Officer to Drive Technology Innovation
National retailer, Casey’s General Stores has announced the appointment of Adrian Butler as the company’s first ever Chief Information Officer (CIO). As CIO, Butler will look to advance the technology offerings/capabilities of the nations fourth largest convenience retailer. He will be responsible for the company’s (IT) strategy, innovation, modernization, and delivery. Butler will report directly to Casey’s CEO Darren Rebelez.
“Adrian is a proven leader and technologist with deep experience across the restaurant and retail industries that will take our technology strategy to the next level,” said Rebelez. “We have a strong leadership team in place at Casey’s and I know that Adrian will contribute to delivering on our purpose and advancing our strategic plan.”
Butler brings more than 20 years of IT experience to the team at Casey’s. He most recently served as the SVP and CIO of Dine Brands Global (parent company of IHOP) and was responsible for the company’s IT transformation and strategy. He also previously worked at Target where he lead multiple complex IT initiatives. Butler is a veteran of the United States Air Force and received his MBA from Embry Riddle University.
