Ralf Edelmann

Ralf Edelmann serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Caspar Health since September 2025, where responsibilities include defining and executing cybersecurity and information security strategies, with a focus on patient data protection and compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, and NIS2. Prior to this role, Ralf held the position of Global IT-Manager/CISO at POC Sports GmbH from May 2016 to May 2025, overseeing comprehensive planning of IT infrastructure and supporting the expansion of markets. Ralf has also served as IT-Manager at Grimm Aerosol Technik, COO and Lead of Development at Unidienst GmbH, Project Manager at Raiffeisenverband Salzburg, and Global Head of IT at HYDRO Building Systems. Ralf's educational background includes an Executive MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Salzburg and a Master of Science in IT Consulting & Leadership from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems. Additionally, Ralf is pursuing certification as an ISMS Manager and Auditor under ISO 27001 from TÜV AUSTRIA Akademie.
