Guillermo Villuendas Huarte

Guillermo Villuendas Huarte serves as the Head of Digital Sector Promotion at the Government of Catalonia, focusing on the coordination of strategies to enhance digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, 5G, and NewSpace. Previous roles include responsible for Innovation and Fleet Management at the RESCAT Office, overseeing technological projects and fleet management for security and emergency users, and coordinator of the fleet management unit at the RESCAT Network leading a team of eight. Guillermo's earlier experience includes serving as the Head Technical Engineer at ADTEL, where oversight of fire station communication systems was executed, and an internship in radio planning at Telefónica Móviles, supporting new radiotower installations. Guillermo holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN, completed in 2007.
