cBEYONData is seeking a highly skilled SAFe Agile Scrum Master with Technical Expertise to support a customer who has embarked on a large modernization initiative. This role will support the Government agency by assisting multiple technical teams execute agile projects in a Scrum Master capacity. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience leading SAFe Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, managing Agile performance metrics, and fostering the adoption of Agile best practices. While specific technical expertise in cloud migration, APIs, and data layers is a bonus, a strong understanding of these domains is desired.
Responsibilities:
Agile Team Leadership
Act as a Scrum Master for multiple technical teams, facilitating SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
Foster a collaborative Agile environment, driving accountability and continuous improvement across teams
SAFe Framework Implementation
Coach teams and stakeholders in the adoption and refinement of SAFe practices
Ensure alignment with organizational Agile goals and compliance with SAFe principles
Agile Metrics and Reporting
Define, implement, and monitor Agile performance metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and cumulative flow diagrams
Identify bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations to improve team performance
Technical Project Support
Collaborate with technical leads to understand dependencies, risks, and milestones related to cloud migration, API integration, and data layer implementation
Provide Agile leadership tailored to the specific challenges of cloud and data projects
Stakeholder Communication
Act as a liaison between technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure project goals are clear and achievable
Regularly report on team progress and Agile adoption to senior leadership
