Marc E. Harris-Pmp

Marc E. Harris-PMP has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Marc E. is currently working as a Project Manager at CBTS since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Diversified from March 2022 to March 2023. From 2015 to 2022, they held the position of Senior Project Manager at Cox Communications, where they managed various technology projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and implementations. Marc E. utilized Assured methodologies, Scrum, and Waterfall processes.

Before working at Cox Communications, Marc was employed at Turner Broadcasting, where they held multiple roles. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Multi-Platform Operations: Business Manager, responsible for directing projects and representing the company with business partners, clients, and internal stakeholders. Marc E. also coached and mentored operations staff and provided consultation as a subject matter expert on applications and processes. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as the Emerging Distribution Platforms: VOD Strategist, where they coached, managed, and mentored operations staff and provided advice and expertise to business units on processes, workflows, applications, and data.

Prior to that, from 2001 to 2006, Marc served as the Network Operations-Latin America: Director at Turner Broadcasting, where they acted as a consultant and adviser to the VP of Operations Cable Servicios del Sur S.A, Defensa facility in Argentina. Marc E. managed the broadcast operations for Boomerang, Cartoon, and TNT Latin America and later transitioned to orchestrating the day-to-day traffic process for the Latin American feeds of TNT. Lastly, from 2000 to 2001, they held the role of Senior Manager: Broadcast Operations-Domestic and Latin America at Turner Broadcasting.

Marc E. Harris-PMP attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 1980 to 1981, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree without declaring a specific field of study. Marc E. then transferred to The University of Toledo and completed their Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from 1981 to 1984.

In terms of additional certifications, Marc obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2015. Marc E. also received the Scrum Master Accredited Certification from the International SCRUM Institute in February 2015. In 2020, Marc obtained two more certifications: "Write a Book: Basic Creative Writing Skills for Beginners" from StackSkills in March and "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" from LinkedIn in September.
