Christopher Dake

Vice President at CCS Fundraising

While at CCS, Chris has designed, implemented, and directed all campaign management areas, including prospect research, volunteer management, and gift requests leading to successful outcomes. Chris has worked with numerous influential leaders and donors to build multiple annual funds and major gift programs and develop and train volunteers and staff for productive capital and annual fundraising initiatives. His primary focuses are board management, strategic planning, gift planning, coaching, and training.

With over 20 years of nonprofit management experience, Chris has worked with leading organizations, including the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Chris also spent four years as Director of the SHARE Food Network, a DC-based food distribution nonprofit of Catholic Charities.

Originally from Ohio, Chris has lived in Washington, DC, for over two decades. He is involved in numerous activities such as CrossFit, half marathons, softball, and walking his dog, Blue. Chris is also an avid researcher and blogs on all things concerning U.S. Presidents and U.S. History. He also loves cheering on his Xavier Musketeers in basketball.
