Daniel Chilongo Bacc

Daniel Chilongo BAcc, FCCA, currently serving as a Grants Finance Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since November 2021, oversees the finance aspects of the Agency's cooperative agreements portfolio and provides auditing technical assistance to ensure compliance with federal laws. Prior experience includes roles as Compliance Manager at Creative Centre for Community Mobilization, where Daniel developed risk management strategies, and as Audit Supervisor, Senior, and Semi-Senior at Deloitte, where responsibilities involved managing audit activities, leading client engagements, and assessing compliance with policies. Daniel began the career as an intern at Electricity Supply Corporation Of Malawi. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Malawi, is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and is pursuing Fellowship status.
