Ed Horowitz, an industry veteran in Media and Space, has joined CEA’s Advisory Board as Senior Advisor for Space and Technology. As a member of the Advisory Board, he will continue to drive development and growth within the field of technology.

Mr. Horowitz is the Chairman of EdsLink LLC, a New York City-based firm focused on financial, technology, media, and telecom. He has had an extensive career in the sector, having been appointed by the U.S Secretary of Commerce to the Board of the First Responder Network Authority and currently serving as its Chairman for his second three-year term, served as president and CEO of SES North America, and on the Board of Directors of Qumu (Nasdaq) and is Board Commissioner to LinkNet Tbk.
Mr. Horowitz is the owner of multiple prestigious industry awards, including Gartner Group’s Excellence in Technology Award and Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories President’s Special Award for innovation. Notably, he was also inducted into the Society of Satellite Professional International (SSPI) Hall of Fame.
