Cristina Makowicz

Cristina Makowicz is an accomplished music educator and director with extensive experience in various teaching and music leadership roles. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Cedar Crest College, Cristina has also contributed to the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts as a Voice Teacher and to Holy Family Catholic Church as Director of Music. Previous positions include Director of Music at Sacred Heart Parish and Upper School Music and Drama Teacher at Holy Spirit Preparatory School. With experience as Interim Instructor in Music Theatre and Resident Music Director at Kennesaw State University, Cristina has also held roles as Adjunct Instructor at New York University, Organist/Choir Director at All Saints Church, and Instrumental Music Teacher at Hancock Central School. Cristina holds a Masters of Music in Piano Performance with a Collaborative Emphasis from New York University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the Eastman School of Music.
