Aaron Baird

Aaron Baird has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Senior Coordinator of Planning and Maintenance at Cenovus Energy since May 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing maintenance activities and leading a team of foremen, craftsmen, and planners in the Clearwater area. Prior to this, Aaron held various positions at ConocoPhillips from May 2004 to May 2017, including Maintenance & Planning Leader and Integrated Planning Project Leader, focusing on maintenance execution and integrated planning within the Western Canada Business Unit. Earlier positions include roles as Maintenance Leader, Maintenance Foreman, Automation Specialist, and Field Operator, alongside foundational experience as an Electrician and Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in different companies. Aaron Baird holds degrees in Industrial Instrumentation Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and in Electrical as a Journeyman Electrician from Red Deer Polytechnic.
