Lane Gibson

Lane Gibson is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in application support and management within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Application Services at Cenovus Energy since January 2019, Lane previously held roles at Calfrac Well Services, Western Financial Group, Enerplus, and TERA Environmental Consultants, among others. With a background that includes providing business application software support for various specialized applications such as ArcGIS, Petrel, and Seisware, Lane has also demonstrated leadership as a Hardware Lead at EnCana and delivered IT support at Hewlett-Packard. Lane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology.
