Jana Lass

Jana Lass has a diverse work experience in the marketing field. Jana started their career in 2010 as a Regional Marketing specialist at Real Goods Solar, where they developed and executed marketing campaigns and customer communication programs. Jana then worked at Marketo as a Corporate Marketing Specialist, where they managed the customer reference program and handled media relations.

After that, Jana joined Vindicia as an Events Marcom Manager, where they planned and executed lead generation programs and managed on-site operations for field marketing programs. Jana then worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Sumo Logic, where they developed an integrated marketing strategy and drove new lead generation through various channels.

Following their time at Sumo Logic, Jana joined Upwork (formerly Elance-oDesk) as a Demand Generation and Marketing Operations specialist. Jana was responsible for building and executing integrated marketing strategies, managing multichannel marketing programs, and budgets.

Jana then worked at OpsClarity as a Demand Generation and Marketing Operations specialist, followed by a role as Director of Marketing at Imanis Data. In these roles, they focused on demand generation, marketing operations, product marketing, and ABM.

Jana's most recent position before joining Zight (formerly CloudApp) was as the Head of Demand Generation and Marketing Operations at Cloudinary. Here, they provided cloud-based image management solutions and catered to a wide range of web and mobile application developers.

Currently, Jana serves as the Vice President of Marketing at Zight, where they aim to improve communications through visual collaboration and help coworkers and customers communicate effectively with shareable screen recordings.

Jana Lass attended UNLV Lee Business School from 2004 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, they attended the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies and earned a High School Diploma, specializing in Fine Art. In addition to their formal education, Jana Lass also obtained a certification as a Marketo Certified Expert from Marketo in April 2013.
