Yong Li

Yong Li is an accomplished biostatistician with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Executive Director of Biostatistics at Centessa Pharmaceuticals since January 2025. Prior to this role, Yong held the position of Senior Director of Biostatistics at Invivyd, focusing on COVID-19 and anti-viral disease from March 2021 to January 2025. Yong's expertise also includes positions such as Senior Statistics Director at GSK and Senior Director of Biostatistics at TESARO, Inc., both emphasizing oncology research. Yong began a career in biostatistics at EMD Serono, Inc. with roles ranging from Senior Expert Statistician in immunology to Principal and Senior Statistician in neurology. Additional experience includes serving as Principal Statistician at Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals and as Senior Statistician at the National Cancer Institute, specializing in bioinformatics.
