Robert L. Stone

Chief Medical Officer at Central Ohio Primary Care

Dr. Stone attended medical school at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine graduating in 1993 followed by completion of a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan in 1996. After finishing their residency Dr. Stone returned to Central Ohio where he enjoyed over 20 years of clinical practice, practicing from 1998 to 2017 at Central Ohio Medicine. During that time he also served on the Board of Directors and as the president of COPC from mid-2012 through early 2017, when he transitioned to managing the CPC+ program as a Medical Director.

He is currently working to advance the efforts of COPC in population health/value-based care in his capacity as the Chief Medical Officer, a role he assumed in late 2022.
