Ellen Paxinos

Ellen Paxinos is a highly experienced professional in the fields of medical and scientific affairs, particularly in oncology. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs and Strategy at Cepheid since September 2020, Ellen previously held the role of Global Director of Medical Affairs at Roche Molecular Systems from March 2016 to September 2020. Additional roles include Marketing Lead, Principal Scientist, and Senior Staff Scientist at Pacific Biosciences, as well as Principal Scientist and R&D Program Manager at Monogram Biosciences. Ellen started her career as a Scientific Writer at Monogram Biosciences and also worked as a Product Manager at Valneva. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Brown University and a B.A. in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara.
