Radhika Gharpure is an epidemiologist currently serving in the Epidemiology & Data Science Department at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) since April 2024. Prior experience includes roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from July 2018 to March 2024, where Radhika worked in the Influenza Division and the COVID-19 Response within the Division of Viral Diseases, as well as serving as an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Officer in the Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases. Earlier in Radhika's career, a Congressional Fellowship was held in the Office of the U.S. Senate from September 2017 to June 2018, and a Post-Baccalaureate Research Fellowship was completed at the National Cancer Institute from July 2010 to June 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania.
