Jaliya Rathnayake

Jaliya Rathnayake has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, currently serving as the Chief Engineer for Planning & Development at the Ceylon Electricity Board since July 2009, focusing on planning and development activities in Distribution Division-2. Prior to this role, Jaliya worked as an Electrical Engineer at Surath Wickramasinghe Associates Consulting (Pvt) Ltd from March 2009 to July 2009, Shin Nippon Air Technologies Co., Ltd from July 2004 to March 2009, and Nikini Group of Companies from August 2004 to July 2005. Jaliya holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, obtained between 2012 and 2014, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2004. Secondary education was completed at D.S. Senanayake Vidyalaya Colombo-7 from 1985 to 1998.
