Mark Boyajian

EVP, Chief Business Engineering Officer at CGI

With more than 25 years of experience in technology, business consulting and banking operations, Mark Boyajian serves as Executive Vice-President and Chief Business Engineering Officer. In this role, Mark’s team supports business units worldwide with the design and implementation of managed IT and business process services, helping clients benefit from CGI’s IT expertise to increase agility, apply innovation, and deliver an improved return on investment.

Previously, from 2015-2019, Mark served as President of CGI’s Canadian Operations, leading a team of 10,500 consultants and overseeing all aspects of CGI’s business across 19 metro markets coast-to-coast. Before taking on the President role in Canada, Mark held several senior roles in the U.S., including leading the Mid-Atlantic business unit serving commercial and government clients throughout several states.

Prior to CGI, Mark served as a technology executive with Bank of America responsible for its business lending technology and also held a variety of senior management positions with Seurat Company and NCR where he led product development, global operations and client delivery. While at NCR, Mark oversaw a global business unit focused on call center, branch automation, Internet banking and loan servicing solutions, which conducted business in 138 countries around the world.

Mark began his career with American Management Systems (acquired by CGI in 2004) where he provided technology and business consulting to many of the largest banking and commercial organizations in the world. From 1990 until 1996, he was based in London, where he led the international expansion of the Credit Solutions group of AMS. During that time, he helped establish and expand business in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
