John Achenbach

John Achenbach is the current President of Buildings at CHA Consulting. John has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and management consulting industry. Prior to joining CHA Consulting, John was the Vice President of Black & Veatch Corporation's Management Consulting Division. In this role, they were responsible for the division's finance, markets, and asset management businesses. John has also served as the Director of Business Development for Kinectrics and as the Vice President of Engineering for DAI Management Consultants. John began their career as a Project Manager for Paul C. Rizzo Associates. John is an expert in the fields of conventional and renewable energy, electric transmission, water/wastewater, and natural gas and oil infrastructure. John has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Lehigh University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

John Achenbach started their educational career by getting a BS with Merit in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
