Erin Plante

VP, Investigations at Chainalysis

Erin Plante is the Vice President of Investigations at Chainalysis. Erin has over fifteen years of experience in the field of forensic intelligence and investigations.

Erin began their career as a Business Systems Analyst at Stockamp & Associates in 2004. Erin then transitioned to Experian in 2005, where they served as a Project Manager for two years. In 2007, Erin joined KPMG as a Manager in their Forensic Technology Services division. During their time at KPMG, Erin worked on a variety of investigations and disputes.

In 2011, Erin left KPMG to join AlixPartners as a Director in their Investigations, Disputes, and Risk division. At AlixPartners, Erin worked on some of the firm's most high-profile cases. Erin also played a key role in expanding the division's presence in Asia Pacific.

In 2015, Erin left AlixPartners to join ENSafrica as Head of Forensic Intelligence. Erin spent three years leading the team before moving to Inventus in 2018. At Inventus, Erin served as Director of Strategy & Consulting and Head of Asia Pacific.

Erin joined Chainalysis in 2020 as Vice President of Investigations. In this role, they lead a team of investigators who work to track and prevent illegal activity using cryptocurrencies.

Their manager is Michael Gronager, CEO & Co-Founder. They work with Jacob Illum - Chief Scientist, Thomas Stanley - President & Chief Revenue Officer, and Betsy Bevilacqua - VP, Information Security.
