Dimitri John Ledkov

Dimitri John Ledkov currently serves as a Principal Engineer at Chainguard, where responsibilities include providing technical leadership on high-impact projects, coaching a distributed engineering team, and managing project priorities for the development of large-scale software solutions, particularly focusing on the distro-less container-based WolfiOS. With prior experience as a Staff Software Engineer at Canonical, Ledkov contributed significantly to the Ubuntu Kernel Team and the Ubuntu Foundations Team, working on various security and encryption initiatives as well as cloud deployments for IBM Mainframe. Earlier roles include positions at Intel Corporation as a Linux Distribution Engineer, where Ledkov pioneered Intel Clear Linux, and consulting work at credativ, along with board membership at Software in the Public Interest. Ledkov holds a Master’s Degree in Mobile Telecommunications Technology from the University of Hull.
