Kasun Abeysinghe

Kasun Abeysinghe has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Kasun started their career as a Trainee at Virtusa in 2007 and then moved on to work as a Senior Software Engineer at Aexis Medical, where they played a key role in developing and automating various hospital departments. In 2017, they joined United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) as a Senior Software Engineer and worked on the GMP project, which involved implementing a treasury management trading and settlement software solution. Kasun also gained experience with technologies such as Murex, Control M, Java, Oracle, and UNIX. Since 2018, Kasun has worked at both SITA and CHAMP Cargosystems as a Senior Software Engineer and more recently as a Lead Software Engineer. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise and proficiency in software development, project coordination, and utilizing various tools and technologies.

Kasun Abeysinghe's education history is as follows:

From 2009 to 2015, Kasun obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science(Dip) from the University of Colombo.

Between 2004 and 2007, Kasun pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Colombo.

From 1992 to 2002, Kasun completed their high school education at St. Anne's College in Kurunegala.

During the years 1989 to 1992, Kasun attended Takshila Primary School in Horana.

In addition to their formal education, Kasun obtained the Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) certification from Sun Microsystems in October 2007.
