Steven Martin

EVP, Enterprise Technology at Change Healthcare

Martin joins Change Healthcare from GE where he served as acting CEO for GE Digital. He previously spent over a decade at Microsoft where he was a key leader on their Azure cloud platform team. As a member of Change Healthcare’s executive leadership team, he will report directly to President and CEO Neil de Crescenzo.

In his new role, Martin will oversee all of Change Healthcare’s R&D, information security and IT operations and he will be responsible for the overall technology direction of the Company’s product and service portfolio.

Martin brings more than 20 years of experience through the various roles he held at GE, including chief digital officer and chief commercial officer, where was responsible for engineering, sales, marketing, product management, and services across GE’s global digital portfolio.

Prior to GE, Martin spent 14 years at Microsoft and played a key leadership role in the development of Microsoft’s Azure business. He was the general manager and chief data scientist for Microsoft Azure, responsible for provisioning, global operations, customer acquisition, billing, and analytics. He worked with healthcare industry leaders to help them move their systems and data to a public cloud while ensuring HIPAA and HL7 compliance. Prior to Microsoft, Martin worked at fast growing technology companies in Silicon Valley, including Netscape, after founding and selling his own technology consulting company.

Martin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Behavioral Science.
