Ashanti Omkar is a distinguished broadcaster, moderator, and speaker with two decades of experience in UK and global entertainment and media. Since 2008, Ashanti has been affiliated with the BBC, where a successful eponymous national radio show was curated and produced at BBC Sounds. Ashanti regularly appears on various BBC platforms as well as on Sky News, Channel 4, ITV News, Channel 5, and Times Radio, providing insights on film, TV, streaming, and pop culture. Additionally, Ashanti is a full BAFTA member, serving on the awards jury and as a voter for film, TV, and games since 2021. Ashanti hosts panels for Women in Film and Television UK and has been involved with the BRIT Awards Jury since 2014.
