Kirstin Furber

Kirstin Furber has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Kirstin'smost recent role was as the People Director at Channel 4, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Non-Executive Director at British Wheelchair Basketball starting from 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Kirstin was the Chief People Officer at Kantar, responsible for the Consulting and Client Leaders division.

Before joining Kantar, they held the role of Chief People Officer at ClearScore, a leading UK FinTech business, from 2018 to 2019. Kirstin has also worked at BBC Worldwide for a significant period, where they held various positions including People Director and Member of the Executive Committee from 2013 to 2018, and SVP, Head of HR from 2010 to 2013.

Other notable experiences include being the Executive Human Resources Director, Europe at 20th Century Fox from 2008 to 2010, VP International Human Resources at Discovery Networks Europe from 2000 to 2007, Human Resources Director at Ziff Davis from 1997 to 2000, and Human Resources Officer at Warner Bros in 1997. Kirstin also briefly ran their own HR consultancy, Mandalay Consulting and Coaching Ltd, in 2007-2008.

Kirstin Furber obtained their BA Hons Business Studies degree from Sheffield Hallam University between the years 1989 and 1993. Prior to that, they attended Kingswood School in Bath from 1987 to 1989.
