Sarah Ather

Sarah Ather is a Solicitor at Chapman Tripp since March 2023, following a role as a Teaching Fellow at Victoria University of Wellington from February 2023 to November 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Judges’ Clerk at the High Court of New Zealand within the Ministry of Justice from January 2021 to January 2023. During their time at The University of Waikato from November 2016 to December 2020, Sarah Ather contributed as a Student Representative on the Student Disciplinary Committee, an E-Tutor, and a Tutor of Jurisprudence. Additional experience includes positions as a Summer Law Clerk at Bell Gully from November 2019 to February 2020 and at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade from November 2018 to February 2019. Sarah Ather holds an LLB(Hons) in Law and Political Science, with a specialization in International Relations, from The University of Waikato, completed in 2020, and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2015.
