Michael Tan

Michael Tan is the current Chief of Staff at Check. Prior to this, they were with Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Analyst and then Check as Business Operations. Michael has also been an Angel Investor and a Researcher with Stripes. Michael started their career with Human Capital as a Campus Director. Michael is also an author, having written "The Death of Uncertainty".

Michael Tan has a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Distinction), Statistics (High Distinction), and Politics, Philosophy & Economics Certificate from Duke University. Michael also has certifications from Coursera in Introduction to Machine Learning and Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills, and Kauffman Fellows Academy in Venture Deals.
