Mark Holder

Mark Holder is the current Chief Operating Officer at Checkfront, a position they have held since May of 2018. Prior to their work at Checkfront, Holder held the position of Board Member at UpContent from June 2016 to May 2018. Before their time at UpContent, Holder was the Director of Platform at Hootsuite from November 2010 to April 2016.

Holder's career began in 1996 as the Marketing and Promotions Manager at Sole Technology, Inc., a position they held for 10 years before moving on to Business Families Centre | Sauder School of Business in 2008 as their Marketing Manager (MBA Internship). After their internship, Holder took on the role of Business Development Manager at Youngr.com | Health & Wellness Management from August 2009 to November 2010. Mark then made their way to Hootsuite where they spent 6 years as their Director of Platform.

In May of 2018, Holder became the COO at Checkfront and has been with the company ever since.

Mark Holder holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of British Columbia and a BSBA from California State University, Long Beach. Their educational background is in strategic management and accountancy.
