Nir Zur

Nir Zur is an experienced software engineering leader with a proven track record in managing large development teams across various companies. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering & AI for Applications Security Solutions at Checkmarx since April 2022, Nir oversees a team of over 40 developers and is responsible for the design and deployment of cloud-native SaaS application security solutions. Prior experience includes R&D Director roles at Cognyte and Verint, managing teams focused on communications and cyber intelligence solutions. Notable earlier positions include SVP R&D & Products at kmoEye, VP of Software Development at Invoke Solutions, and R&D Manager at Destinator Technologies, where leadership in R&D and product development was demonstrated. Nir holds an Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Economics and Management from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
