Shawna Owens

Shawna Owens is an experienced technical recruiter with a robust background in full life cycle recruiting across various organizations, including Cherokee Federal, Preting, Azimuth Corporation, and Obsidian Solutions Group LLC. Since January 2022, Shawna has served as a Technical Recruiter with Cherokee Federal, following its acquisition of Preting, where this position was previously held. Shawna has extensive experience managing Applicant Tracking Systems and has demonstrated proficiency in candidate submission and resume formatting. Prior to transitioning into technical recruiting, Shawna served in the US Army for over seven years, holding various roles such as Operations Supervisor and Targeting Analyst, and achieving significant accomplishments in recruitment and intelligence analysis. Shawna holds a BA in Intelligence Studies from American Military University.
