Renato Almeida

Renato Almeida currently serves as the Secretary for the Angolan Association of Exploration & Production Companies (ACEPA), managing day-to-day operations and providing executive support to the president while advocating for the energy industry in Angola. With extensive experience at Chevron as a Senior Public Affairs Advisor, Public Affairs & Social Investment Manager, and Corporate Affairs Planning Manager, Renato has developed expertise in stakeholder management, regulatory advocacy, and reputation management. Previous roles include Manager of International Government Affairs and Government Affairs Manager at Chevron, and Angolan National Committee Representative for The Kimberley Process, where Renato focused on policy and technical support related to diamond certification. Educational qualifications include a Post-Graduate Diploma in International/Global Studies from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a Bachelor of Laws from Angolan Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Seneca Polytechnic.
