Vanessa Aguayo is a seasoned Technical Safety Engineer at Chevron, with a career spanning over 16 years in various safety-focused roles. At Chevron's Technical Center, Vanessa delivers Process Safety Assurance, conducting site verifications, facilitating risk assessments, and developing consequence models for the Shale and Tight Asset Class. Prior experience includes serving as a Process Risk Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer, HES Advisor, and Environmental Engineer, contributing to strengthening safety cultures and supporting health, environment, and safety initiatives. Vanessa holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, both from the Colorado School of Mines.
