John Ligon

John Ligon has extensive experience in instrumentation and control within the petrochemical industry, currently serving as an Instrumentation Specialist at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company since April 2022. Prior to this role, John held various positions at the same company from July 2000 to July 2020, including Instrumentation and Control Engineer, Instrument Supervisor, Instrument Inspector, and Instrument Technician, contributing significantly to the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems for major petrochemical complexes. John has also shared expertise as an Adjunct Instructor in Instrumentation and Process Technology at Lee College from 1995 to 2005. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Instrumentation from Lee College and studies at Texas A&M University.
