Marcus Self

Marcus Self is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process safety and engineering. Currently serving as a Lead Process Engineer at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company since April 2020, Marcus has previously held various roles, including Senior Process Engineer and Process Safety Engineer at the same company. Prior to this, Marcus worked at Valero Energy Corporation from September 2006 to April 2020, where roles included Staff Process Safety Engineer and Operations Supervisor. Additional experience includes positions at Murphy Oil, Sunoco, and Mobil Oil, where Marcus began as a Process Engineering Intern. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, completed in 2000, and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1995.
