Colleen Sonnefeldt

Colleen Sonnefeldt is the Director of Finance & Operations and leads the finance, human resources, legal, compliance and risk management, and grants management functions across Chicago CRED. She also helps enable our network of community-based, nonprofit partners with best-in-class management tools and capabilities to become self-sufficient and set up for growth.

Prior to joining CRED, Colleen worked with Chicago International Charter Schools, where she served as their Director of Accounting. She has worked in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, with the last 15 years in NFP organizations. She holds a B.S. in Finance and an MBA in Human Resources Management.
