Chuck Swirsky

Senior Advisor to the CEO Federal/Local Intergovernmental Relations at Chicago Public Schools

As a Senior Advisor to the CEO, Chuck maintains collaborative partnerships with local and federal elected leaders while overseeing the planning, development, and execution of legislation and municipal ordinances that affect CPS schools and students. He oversees departments such as Intergovernmental Affairs, Family and Community Engagement, Local School Councils, Faith-Based Initiatives, Parent Universities, and Community Action Councils.

Prior to this role, Chuck managed the District’s federal affairs and also served as the Executive Director of the Children First Fund. He also has extensive experience managing political campaigns, including serving as a campaign director for seven years prior to joining CPS in 2011.

He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
