Yasmin Broy

Yasmin Broy currently serves as a 7th/8th Grade Math Teacher and Department Head at Chicago Public Schools since January 2022, and also coordinates a Summer Math Program at Murray Language Academy, where Yasmin created and taught a Step Up Math program for middle school students focusing on Equations and Expressions. Prior experience includes working as a Math Tutor and Summer School Math Teacher at Robert A Black Elementary School from September 2018 to July 2020, where Yasmin developed targeted learning paths and lessons to address student needs. Yasmin holds a Bachelor of Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Chicago State University, completed in December 2021, and has attended Howard University and the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, as well as Ted Lenart Regional Gifted Center.
