EVP & President of VOD Networks at Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment

Philippe Guelton is the EVP & President of VOD Networks at Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment. Philippe has previously served as CEO of SheKnows Media, President of Thrillist Media Group, and in various executive roles at Hearst Magazines.

Guelton began their career in 1999 as President and CEO of Hearst Fujingaho. In 2003, they joined Hearst Magazines as EVP and COO of HFMUS. During their time at Hearst, Guelton oversaw the development of print and digital platforms for media brands such as Elle, Car and Driver and Woman's Day. Philippe also lead the acquisition of digital automotive ad network Jumpstart and advised on the sale of HFMUS to Hearst Magazine.

In 2012, Guelton left Hearst to become President of Thrillist Media Group. One year later, they became CEO of SheKnows Media. Under Guelton's leadership, SheKnows Media became a mission-driven media company with a reach of up to 70 million monthly unique visitors and over 300 million social media fans. The company operated a family of leading media properties that included SheKnows, BlogHer and StyleCaster. In March 2018, SheKnows Media was acquired by Penske Media Corporation.

Guelton joined Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment in July 2018 as EVP & President of VOD Networks.

Philippe Guelton holds a Master's Degree in Management from ESCP Business School and has also completed an MBA exchange program at Georgia State University.

They are on a team with Elana Sofko - Chief Operating Officer, Chris Mitchell - Chief Financial Officer, and David Fannon - EVP of Distribution & President of Screen Media. Philippe Guelton reports to William Rouhana, CEO & Chairman.
