Silvia Siragusa

Silvia Siragusa is currently a PhD student at Chiesi Group, specializing in Target Validation and New Product Evaluation within PreClinical R&D since June 2022, after previously serving as an intern in the same department. Prior experience includes a research scholarship at the Dipartimento di Promozione della Salute, Materno-Infantile, “G. D’Alessandro”, where Silvia studied the effects of prenatal THC exposure on prefrontal cortex development. At the Università degli studi di Palermo, a thesis project focused on the impact of prenatal THC exposure on cognitive performances and emotionality in adolescent rats. Additional experience includes an internship at Farmacia Chiavetta Giuseppe, where Silvia gained professional training in pharmaceutical practices. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from Università degli Studi di Palermo and an Erasmus+ experience at the University of Valencia. Silvia holds a degree from Liceo Classico Vittorio Emanuele II.
