William W. Benson

William W. Benson, PsyD, currently serves as the Training Coordinator for the Center for ADHD and Behavioral Disorders at the Child Mind Institute, where responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment and placement of trainees. Additionally, as the Program Director for the Tics and Trichotillomania/BFRB Program, William is establishing a program to provide evidence-based treatments for tic disorders and related behavioral issues. Previous roles include Program Director of the School Health Program at Montefiore Health System and Staff Psychologist at CBT/DBT Associates, among others, where William developed mental health programs, supervised clinicians, and provided individual and group therapy. William holds a Doctor of Psychology degree from Rutgers University and has extensive training in child clinical psychology and neuropsychological assessment, contributing to diverse settings and populations throughout the career span.
