Joseph Watts, SHRM-SCP

Joseph Watts, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources, training, and coordination. Joseph started their career as a Financial Aid Coordinator at the University of Utah - Employment in September 2000, where they worked until August 2001. Joseph then joined Delta Air Lines as an Intern from August 2003 to December 2003, where they provided assistance to the Delta SLC pilot group and contributed to drafting an administrative assistant manual. In April 2004, they joined SkyWest Airlines as the Manager of Customer Service Training - Contract Handling and served in this role until March 2013. Throughout their time at SkyWest Airlines, they focused on training and development programs and coordination. Since March 2013, Joseph has been working at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals as the Senior Director of Human Resources, responsible for the development, coordination, and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. Joseph assesses the organization's developmental needs and arranges suitable training solutions. Joseph holds the SHRM-SCP certification.

Joseph Watts, SHRM-SCP, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management, with a specific focus in Aviation, obtained from Westminster College between 2002 and 2003. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science (AS) in Business Administration and Management from Salt Lake Community College between 2001 and 2002. In addition to their educational background, Joseph Watts has also obtained additional certifications, including the SHRM-SCP from SHRM in December 2015 and the Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty from SHRM in April 2020.
