The leadership team at Chipotle Mexican Grill has a history of experience in the restaurant industry. The current CEO, Brian Niccol, previously served as the Chief Executive Officer at Taco Bell. Prior to that, he was the President at Yum! Brands, Taco Bell. Other members of the leadership team have worked as the General Manager- Pizza Hut USA at Yum! Brands, the Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer at Yum! Brands, Taco Bell, and the EVP and Chief Brand Officer at Bloomin'​ Brands, Inc. The team is also educated, with degrees from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, UC San Diego, and The Ohio State University.
