Jacob Moffett has extensive experience in wildland firefighting, currently serving as a Wildland Firefighter at CHLOETA since September 2014, where responsibilities include conducting prescribed burns and leading forest inventory for the Rocky Mountain Research Plots in Nevada and Utah. As Chairperson of Ava's Source Water Protection Committee since October 2010, Jacob has developed a Source Water Protection Plan focused on public education and safeguarding drinking water. Serving in the United States Army as an 88N Transportation Officer since July 2008, Jacob assists in transportation logistics for Army personnel and equipment. Jacob has owned Moffett Trees and More since January 2002, providing comprehensive landscaping and tree services. Previous roles include laborer and forester positions in construction and utility vegetation management, contributing to various ecological projects, demonstrating a strong background in biology and environmental science with degrees from Drury University and Hocking College.
