Peter J. Mahler

Peter Mahler first worked at Church Mutual from 1998 to 2004 as an underwriter and then an underwriting supervisor. He rejoined the company in 2015 as a direct underwriting manager and was promoted to assistant vice president – direct underwriting in September 2017 and was promoted into his current position in February 2020.

Mahler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, in 1997, and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in 2005. He earned his Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations in 2001. He earned his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) in 2008; and his Associate in Risk Management – ERM (ARM-E) in 2015.

Mahler is a member of the CPCU Society Northern Wisconsin Chapter and has held various roles of responsibility, including president and vice president.

He attends Wausau Alliance Church in Wausau, Wisconsin.
