Wong King Fung

Wong King Fung is the current CFO at CICC. Wong has over 25 years of experience in finance and has worked in Hong Kong, London, Beijing, and Tokyo.

King Fung began their career at KPMG UK in 1991 and became a manager in 1995. Wong then moved to KPMG in Hong Kong and became a manager of Capital Markets and Treasury Finance at HSBC in 1997. In 2000, they joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director.

At Goldman Sachs, King Fung served as APAC COO with a focus on distribution. Wong was responsible for strategy and sales management for institutional and TPD clients in Japan, China, HK, SG, India, Korea, Malaysia, and Australia. Wong also oversaw product development in APeJ and served as a specialist on China's cross-border transactions. In addition to their work at GS Asset Management, King Fung also held positions as China Federation Chief of Staff & Chief Risk Officer, Head of Controllers (HK, TW, Korea, & China), Head of Product Control for Japan/AeJ, FICC & Equities businesses, and Head of Accounting Policies in Asia.

King Fung left Goldman Sachs in 2016 to become the CFO at CICC.

Wong King Fung completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol.
