Dr Sara al-Esayi

Dr. Sara Al-Esayi is an experienced HR professional and academic, currently serving as a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) since November 2019 and an Associate Fellow of The Higher Education Academy since 2016. In January 2024, Dr. Al-Esayi will take on the role of HR Executive and Director of Human Resource Management at ACWA Power, focusing on strategic leadership and long-term workforce planning. Previously, Dr. Al-Esayi held the position of Director of Business and Management at the University of Surrey from April 2017 to August 2023, where leadership in a top-ranked HRM program was achieved. Other experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Brunel University London from 2012 to 2017, leading significant research projects, and a managerial role at Alesayi Fashion from 2004 to 2009. Dr. Al-Esayi holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management from Brunel University London, in addition to a Master's degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor's degree from King Abdulaziz University.
