Jeff Alderson

Jeff Alderson is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software and integrated circuit (IC) design. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Cirrus Logic since October 2010, Jeff leads a global software team focused on embedded firmware, drivers, and tools. Prior roles at Cirrus Logic include Senior Director and Senior IC Design Manager, where Jeff oversaw the development of Adaptive Noise Canceling technology and supported tier 1 customers. Previous experience includes positions at Silicon Laboratories as a Staff Design Engineer, SigmaTel as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, and Synopsys as a Senior IC Design Engineer, with a focus on digital IC design and systems. Jeff holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communications and DSP and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Central Florida.
