Vaughn Stanford, RHCSA, CEH, is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in both government and private sectors. Currently serving as the Chief of Penetration Testing Capabilities at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since September 2015, Vaughn has a strong focus on enhancing the security of systems across various stakeholders. Prior experience includes a distinguished career in the Army National Guard as Operations First Sergeant, managing Computer Network Defense Teams and planning strategic operations. Additionally, Vaughn held technical roles at CenturyLink, the National Security Agency, and the US Army, specializing in systems engineering, cyber operations, and information assurance. Vaughn holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Stratford University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from Strayer University, and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College, among other degrees.
